Old House Cay Island is a convenient, five minute boat ride from Windmill Harbour, which boasts one of the few locked harbours on the entire east coast.  Upon arrival to the island, you’ll tie off at your floating dock with a 500 square foot, covered pier head connected to a 600 foot pier.  Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the 1800 square foot home complete with 1000sf of wrap-around porch with marsh, sound, and tidal creek views.  Inside, you’ll find all the amenities of modern life powered by a 6 KW solar power system with 5500 amp hour batteries and a backup generator.  Enjoy the endless views of the Intracoastal Waterway from the 2nd floor, 360 degree, observation area.

As you venture out, a short walk down the 2nd pier connects you to the westernmost portion of the island.  There you’ll find the 3 stories of 20X20 covered decks at the observation tower, featuring solar and wind power for lighting and refrigeration.  The easily navigable waters surrounding Old House Cay Island allow for smooth boating, sailing, and exploration of Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, and other surrounding communities. 

A second building site, with infrastructure already in place, would allow for construction of another residence, should you so desire.  Various options for partial ownership of Old House Cay Island are available.
